Policies
We are committed to providing a safe and transparent experience for all clients.
Our key policies are outlined below and we encourage you to read through them to feel informed and supported throughout your time with us.
Our Policies

We want paying for sessions to be easy and flexible. You can pay in person using Tyro or online via Stripe, with no extra EFTPOS or transaction fees. For eligible Medicare claims, we’ll handle the paperwork for you once your payment is processed so it’s one less thing for you!
Some things to note:
Some appointments may require a deposit to secure your spot;
Automatic cancellation fees may apply in certain situations, as outlined in our cancellation policy below;
We don’t use third-party billing, keeping things simple and transparent. That said, we’re happy to make sure your receipt has everything you need for NDIS self-submission or insurance purposes.
For more information, our full Payment Policy can be found here.

We understand things come up! To avoid being charged, please give at least 48 hours’ notice if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment. If notice isn’t given, the full session fee applies. For assessment testing session cancellations, a reduced fee of 50% will be charged.
This policy helps us reduce income loss from unfilled appointments and keep spots open for other clients. We send reminders via text, and late cancellations may be automatically charged using securely stored card details.
Future appointments won’t be booked until any outstanding balances are cleared, and unpaid fees may be referred to a debt collection agency after 14 days.

We understand that sometimes parents or carers may need to step out while their child is in session. By leaving Feel to Heal Psychology, you’re consenting to this policy, and your child will be supervised and cared for by the treating psychologist.
Parents and carers are responsible for collecting their child on time at the end of the session. Late collection may incur a fee, as the psychologist continues duty of care until you return.
For full details, including important information about leaving your child unaccompanied, please read our full policy here or ask for a copy from our reception team.
