Hi, I’m Kaori (pronounced like Māori, but with a K)!
I provide therapy for adults experiencing challenges related to anxiety, depression, stress, and trauma. I have a particular interest in the connection between psychological and physical health, including mind-body conditions such as Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, and I am passionate about helping individuals reconnect with themselves and create meaningful change in their lives.
My approach integrates evidence-based therapies such as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Trauma-focused ACT and CBT, Dialectical Behaviour informed Therapy, and aspects of Schema Therapy.
I believe that true healing involves the mind, body, and soul, and I aim to move beyond treating symptoms in isolation to support your deeper growth and self-actualisation. Alongside above approaches, I may draw on the wisdom of Eastern philosophies and holistic perspectives to foster wellbeing.
In my free time, I enjoy dancing, singing my heart out at karaoke, starting yet another new creative project, and practicing extended meditation.
