Erika Jung
Registered Psychologist

Hi, I’m Erika.
I am a registered psychologist originally from Sydney and have called Canberra home for many years, enjoying the lifestyle and close proximity to both the beach and the snow.
At Feel to Heal, I work with children, adolescents and adults, providing both therapy and assessment. I am passionate about supporting people through a wide range of emotional, behavioural and developmental challenges, with extensive experience working alongside individuals and families who have experienced trauma, adversity, attachment disruption, complex family dynamics and significant life stressors.
I aim to create a warm, safe and supportive space where clients feel genuinely heard, understood and respected. My approach is collaborative, strengths-based and tailored to each individual, recognising that no two people or experiences are the same.
My work is informed by a range of therapeutic approaches including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Schema Therapy, Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Theraplay, Therapeutic Life Story Work, Dyadic Developmental Psychotherapy (DDP), Non Violence Resistance (NVR) and the Neurosequential Model. I am also a Circle of Security Parenting facilitator and value supporting caregivers to strengthen relationships, build connection and better understand their child’s emotional needs. I draw flexibly from these approaches to best support each client’s unique needs, goals and circumstances.
With a background spanning psychology, social work and therapeutic care, I bring extensive experience supporting children, adolescents, adults and families across a variety of settings, including child protection, schools and therapeutic services.
Outside of my clinical work, you’ll usually find me spending time with my family, heading to the beach or snow, or relaxing with my dog, Pepper.
